What Steps Does TLC Take to Ensure Sod Lasts for Years?
We begin by Prepping the area, checking for Drainage issues, and ensuring proper Sunlight access. The ground is prepared with nutrient-rich Topsoil or a Premium triple mix blend, then Leveled for a smooth finish. Sod is laid Staggered tightly to create No visible seams and lightly Watered immediately to Compact ensuring strong soil contact. We finish by setting up a Custom watering plan and providing clear aftercare Instructions — so your new lawn takes root quickly and stays Healthy for years.
When can i walk on my sod?
We recommend avoiding heavy foot traffic for the first 2–3 weeks after installation. However, light walking such as crossing it carefully to water or maintain can be done immediately after installation without harm. Limiting activity during the early stages will give your lawn the best chance to grow strong and healthy.
How much should i water?
or the first 2 weeks, water 2–3 times daily to keep soil damp. In weeks 3–4, reduce to once a day, then every other day. Water early mornings for best results.
